4th of July Cocktails Made to Impress

4th of July Cocktails Made to Impress

Whether you are still keeping to yourself or are ready to host an outdoor BBQ bash (social-distance style) we know nothing says 4th of July like some creative cocktails. It’s time to break out the fresh fruit and mixers while you flex your bartending skills after some long months of indoor living. Don’t be afraid to test some of these out before the party.

Fourth of July Cocktail

Straight to the point and highly patriotic, this cocktail is refreshingly sweet with a hint of spice, just like a firecracker! A mix of watermelon schnapps, a healthy splash of cranberry juice, and some tequila are the key ingredients in this tasty mixture.  Muddled together with some sliced jalapeno, lime, and lemon to get a spicy-citrus flavor made, even more, appealing with some blue curacao. Strawberry-Lemonade Punch

This is the perfect summer beverage that works for the whole family! Put those freshly picked summer berries to work when you blend together freshly-squeezed lemon juice and strawberries with a bit of pure maple syrup for sweetness. Choose one of your favorite sparkling water varieties for cocktails and garnish with blueberries. Keep it non-alcoholic or add a shot or two of vodka or rum for a delicious adult beverage. Mojito Diablo

We love a cocktail with options! This Mojito Diablo recipe is a slightly sweeter take on the traditional recipe with brown sugar and creme de cassis. It also calls for 7-Up in place of soda water, but you can also opt for LaCroix Lemon or Lemon Perrier if you’re looking to cut back on the sugar levels. Check out the full recipe here.

Mason Jar Citrus Cooler

Another versatile beverage that you can drink as is or pair with your favorite clear liquor such as vodka, tequila, or rum. A combination of orange, lime, and lemon juice mixed with some sugar and topped with a premium club soda to keep this cocktail classy. Think of it as an adult lemonade to perk up your backyard BBQ.
